LEAD
Lens Learning Center crafts future leaders with love and positivity to boost powerful decision -making abilities. We understand the importance of positive role models and we take pride in providing a learning environment rich of opportunities to help build social skills. EDUCATE
Lens Learning Center uses the power of making learning a fun activity while simultaneously expanding their levels of knowledge. Our unique programs incorporate a variety of educational theories, while always keeping the child’s best interest in mind and allowing for hands-on, learning.

NURTURE & STIMULATE
Lens Learning Center believes that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.

Nita Hinton
Owner/Program Director
Nita Hinton is the owner & program director of Lens Learning Center. Nita has a bachelors degree in community services & family studies from Siena Heights University and has years of experience working with diverse populations across Calhoun and Kalamazoo County. Nita also has years of childcare experience working and volunteering throughout the community and has three young children of her own. Nita’s dream is to provide a reliable, affordable, quality childcare program for the community.

Full-time & Part-time Services
Full-time childcare includes up to 45 hours per week of childcare for children ages birth to 14 years old.
Part-time childcare is available for ages 2.5as well and before or after school care.

Drop in Services
Drop in childcare will be provided on a first come first serve basis, if there is availability in an age appropriate classroom. The tuition for drop in care depends on the childs age. Please see age categories above. There is a 2-hour minimum requirement. Drop in care fees must be paid the day service is provided at drop off and all required enrollment forms must be completed.

When is tuition due?Tuition is due the Monday of each week services are to be provided. Payment plans are available to those families that get paid bi weekly.

Do you offer drop in, part time or full time care?"We offer part time (depends on age) and full time.

How Soon Can my Child StartWe usually always have immediate openings. Your child start date depends on how soon you're able to provide the required documentation.
